Future University in Egypt announces the launch of a Media skills Training Program and applied workshops in podcast preparation and presentation, designed for students from various faculties across the university. The program aims to develop both theoretical and practical media skills, enabling students to communicate effectively and build a professional media presence.The program will be delivered by Dr. Dina Yehia, Professor of Media and professional media trainer, who will guide students through a series of specialized sessions combining academic knowledge with practical training.The training program will also be counted as part of the officially approved practical training hours, in accordance with the university’s academic regulations.Program ObjectivesThe program aims to achieve several key objectives, including: • Preparing Political Media students and students from different faculties for effective media communication. • Qualifying students for confident and professional on-camera and public appearances. • Developing students’ abilities in preparing and presenting different types of media content. • Providing hands-on training inside the university studio on the stages and processes of television program production. • Equipping students with podcast production and presentation skills as one of the most influential forms of contemporary digital media. • Enhancing students’ ability to manage dialogue and public discussions professionally.Training Program ContentThe program includes several specialized training topics designed to strengthen students’ theoretical knowledge and practical media skills.Introduction to Media and Public OpinionStudents will explore the concept of media and its role in shaping public opinion, as well as the responsibilities of media professionals in modern society.Media Appearance and Public SpeakingThis section focuses on developing professional media presence, including: • Camera handling skills • Managing stress and pressure during media appearances • Dealing with difficult questions and unexpected situations • Understanding the impact of body language and vocal tone on delivering media messagesManaging Media Dialogue and DiscussionStudents will learn how to conduct and manage professional discussions through: • Effective questioning skills • Active listening techniques • Managing disagreement and confrontation in public dialogue • Controlling the flow of discussion while maintaining the core messagePodcast Preparation and PresentationStudents will also receive training in podcast production as a modern form of digital media, including: • Understanding the concept and types of podcasts • Selecting ideas and developing content • Preparing scripts and managing audio dialogue • Basics of recording, editing, and audio production • Using podcasts as an effective media communication toolFinal ProjectAt the end of the program, students will complete a practical project that includes: • A simulated on-camera media appearance inside the university studio • Preparation, presentation, and production of a complete podcast episode, including the idea, content development, and executionEvaluation MethodsParticipants will be evaluated based on: • Attendance and active participation • Assignments and practical applications throughout the program • Performance evaluation during the training sessionsProgram HighlightsThe training program consists of four sessions designed to enhance: • Personal skills • Voice skills • Communication skills • Confidence and the ability to present diverse contentThrough this program, students will have the opportunity to discover and develop their personal talents in podcasting and media communication.Students who wish to participate can register through the following link:Registration LinkRegistration deadline: Saturday, 28 March 2026.
