Al Aqsa Flood: Egyptian Diplomacy in an Expeditious World
In continuation of the Al-Aqsa Flood series of lectures, The Faculty of Economics and Political Science organized a new lecture by Amb. Mohamed Al-Oraby- Former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Head of the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs. The lecture title wa, Egyptian Diplomacy in an Expeditious World. Among the ideas discussed by Amb. Oraby are new challenges facing Egyptian diplomacy within the high frequency of international events taking place, and how to balance between principles and interests. Amb. Oraby also discussed the trans-boundaries effects with the different security circuit surrounding Egypt. Amb. Oraby also mentioned non-state actors and their influence on the political economy. The event was attended by Faculty members and students, with opening speeches given by the University president, Prof. Ebada Sahran and economicspoliticalscience Dean, Prof. Salwa Thabet and moderated by Prof. Mai Mogib, Political Science professor.
