Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Future University in Egypt Holds Seminar on “The U.S.–Israeli War on Iran and Its Implications for the Arab Region”
The Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Future University in Egypt organized a scientific seminar on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, entitled “The U.S.–Israeli War on Iran and Its Implications for the Arab Region.” The seminar was held under the supervision and participation of Professor Hani El-Shamy, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Political Science. The seminar featured a distinguished group of speakers, including Professor Ekram Badr El-Din, Professor of Political Science at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University; Professor Hassan Wagih, Head of the Department of Political Science at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Future University in Egypt; and Professor Hani El-Shamy, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Future University in Egypt. During the seminar, the speakers addressed several critical topics related to the ongoing geopolitical dynamics in the region. They discussed the main causes that led to the outbreak of the war, as well as the arguments and narratives that have been used to justify the conflict on the international stage. The discussion also examined the strategic objectives of the war and its broader implications. In addition, the participants highlighted the negative political and economic consequences resulting from such conflicts, emphasizing that the repercussions of wars of this scale extend far beyond the directly involved parties. Future University in Egypt announces the launch of a Media skills Training Program and applied workshops in podcast preparation and presentation, designed for students from various faculties across the university.
