This course focuses on the national accounts framework, the distribution of income, input/output tables, financial flows statements and the national economic budget. The course illustrates the sectors of the economy and their transactions. Moreover, it focuses on the formal and informal sectors, as well as, government budgeting. In addition, the course covers countries trade accounts and their indicators. Course Goals: • Comprehend the basic knowledge and principles of National Accounting Statistics dealing with definitions, collection and compilation methods of National Accounts. • Understand the rules and fundamentals of National Accounting.
