This course presents the great challenges in the modern world. It treats the relationship between religions, society, citizenship and democracy. It also explores the impact of identity and culture on shaping international relations. It is based on case studies such as revolutions in the Arab World and its impact on international relations, Islamic movements and foreign policy, globalization and terrorism.
