This course presents the great challenges in the modern world. It treats the relationship between religions, society, citizenship and democracy. It also explores the impact of identity and culture on shaping international relations. It is based on case studies such as revolutions in the Arab World and its impact on international relations, Islamic movements and foreign policy, globalization and terrorism. Course Goals: • Utilize analytical tools for political and strategic analysis. • Evaluate the objectivity of news sources and extract the needed information. • Analyze critically topics that have an impact on the international system. • Apply different theoretical knowledge gained from previous courses on specific case studies.
