This course explores financial tools and techniques (stocks, bonds, and their valuations), with a special emphasis on the Egyptian financial sector. It focuses on the time value of money, different types of risks, and the tradeoff between risk and return, as well as different financial indicators. Moreover, the course concentrates on the analysis financial statements. The students are exposed to external readings and are updated to recent news in the financial industry. Course Goals: • Acquaint students with a comprehensive perspective of the financial activities and techniques used in performing financial analysis. • Recognize and analyze different contexts of financial policies.
